Danny Royce grew up in the Richmond area and swam for Poseidon Swimming. He works as a civil litigator with the firm of Kalbaugh Pfund & Messersmith. He went to Cornell University where he was a two-year captain and three time MVP of the varsity swim team. During college and after graduation Danny was fortunate to coach with several fantastic organizations. He served as head swim coach for the Woodlake Summer League Team, and assistant coach for both Trinity Episcopal School and Poseidon Swimming. During law school Danny began coaching triathletes as a swim coach for Endorphin Fitness. While he will always be a swimmer at heart, Coach Danny now focuses on iron distance triathlons and is a five time Ironman Finisher. Danny enjoys pushing his limits and testing himself on a daily basis. His current goal is to compete at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. Danny loves coaching with Peluso Open Water's fabulous program and looks forward to helping you achieve your swimming goals.
